SaMoTer, the heart of construction machinery beats in Italy

From May 6 to May 9, 2026, SaMoTer returns to Verona with an even more ambitious, attractive, and comprehensive triennial edition. This historic international event dedicated to the construction and earthmoving sector is expanding its exhibition offering, enhancing the Digital Construction Site, introducing new special shows, and welcoming the return of major international Brands—strengthening networking and business opportunities in an increasingly global and competitive environment.

At a time when the construction supply chain is central to economic growth and the sustainable transition, SaMoTer confirms its role as a leading international platform, recognized within the network of partner trade fairs of CECE, the European federation of construction equipment manufacturers.

The 2026 edition will focus on the ongoing transformations in the sector: from construction site digitalization to automation, from machinery sustainability to artificial intelligence, with particular attention to safety, rental, and technical training.

The heart of construction machinery has been beating in Italy for sixty years, at Veronafiere

1964 – The insight: a trade fair entirely dedicated to earthmoving machinery

SaMoTer was founded at Veronafiere in 1964 to create a dedicated space within the Italian trade fair landscape for earthmoving machinery, which, since 1948, had been showcased as part of the agricultural mechanization exhibition.

The initiative proved to be a success and aligned with the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises in the sector, which required a specialized event for exchange, promotion, and comparison with different technical experiences, as well as with the world of research and universities.
